Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is in charge of covering all things including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Being the child of 2 NASA astronauts Kristin was raised in the industry of space. She was a part of the space industry for five years, covering the Biden and Trump Administration's space policies as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings, the 2020 Presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations in order to control the Coronavirus Pandemic. Additionally, she was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as Vice President Trump frequently. The trip included a shady trip with him to Afghanistan. Kristin was a fixture in the newsrooms of local markets like Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to being hired by the network. She was awarded the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as the CBS affiliate's one-man band reporter. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in creating documentaries for corporate clients including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a graduate in Journalism from Boston University.
